This official Fender CTS 250K No Load Short Shaft Potentiometer is an integral part of the Delta Tone system on Fender American series electric guitars. The no load pot functions as a normal tone control from 1 to 9 but at 10 the tone control is removed from the circuit for increased output and overall tonal response. The short shaft is useful when mounting to scratchplates or control plates (Stratocasters, Telecasters etc.) to ensure the knobs do not sit too high above the body, it is made from durable brass and has fine 24 spline mounting for imperial sized knobs. It fits most US and Mexico made Fender instruments that have 3/8" potentiometer mounting holes and a 0.022 uf capacitor is included.
