Description

This Pure Tone 1/4" Stereo Jack features their patented dual positive tips and a dedicated contact for ground for optimal signal and the lowest possible noise. With a greater contact surface area between the jack plug and jack socket there is a more stable connection and as a result high and low frequencies are greatly improved creating a much more balanced sound while eliminating frequency spikes. By supporting the tip of the jack plug on both sides it will not wear out unevenly overtime and become noisy from an unstable connection. A stereo jack is usually used with active pickups to remove the battery from the circuit when the guitar is unplugged to preserve battery life or to route magnetic and piezo pickup signals separately through a stereo cable. The Pure Tone stereo jack allows for increased current handling at 500 volts for high current applications, has an imperial 3/8-32 thread (the same as Switchcraft jacks) and comes with mounting hardware included.
