These Warwick Neck Mounting Screws have a domed/raised countersunk phillips head and a shorter length than standard neck screws. The short 35 mm length means these can be used with neck ferrules and installed on to guitars will carved heels like the Ibanez AANJ. Carved heels are great for playing comfort at the high frets but the low profile design puts the head of the screw closer to the neck and so installing standard length neck screws runs the risk of the screw coming through the surface of the fretboard.
