Description
This pack of two official Fender Pickup Height Foam Strips are used on most Jazz Bass, Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitar pickups (1989-present).
The slightly stiff foam aids height adjustment for direct mounted pickups by compressing when you screw the pickups down to lower the height and then expanding when you unscrew the pickups, pushing them back up to raise the height. The strips have a self adhesive backing and are 3/8" tall.

PERFECT FOAM TO USE AS A STRING MUTE FOR BASS
Came across some information on a bass forum regarding the foam rubber Fender where using as string mute’s under the chrome covers on J and P basses back in the day and that this is the same stuff which inspired me to make a custom under string mute to fit my 63’ Hofner 182 solid body bass, this stuff is absolutely perfect.
