The Victory Amplification V40 Deluxe is an evolution of the V40 The Duchess, adding valve driven spring reverb and tremolo with stunning cream vinyl over a traditional wooden cabinet finished with leather corners and handle.

The single channel amp has two modes operated via a voice switch on the front, voice I offers mid 60s type American clean tones, voice II is subtly stronger and adds more upper mid-range frequencies for a more traditional British overdrive sound and The Deluxe is designed to be a very pedal friendly amplifier. In addition to the three band EQ is a mid kick switch which boosts the mids and adds a wider sweep and range of frequencies for the mid knob to control. The volume control and the post phase splitter master volume control, combined with the volume on your guitar allow a wide range of volumes and gains to be achieved and are very powerful for tone shaping. There is valve driven real spring reverb with volume and tone controls and valve driven tremolo with rate and depth controls, reverb and tremolo effects are foot switchable on and off. There is a low power switch which takes the amp down from 42 watts to 7 watts.

Rounding off the amplifier is a simple series effects loop (with a true bypass switch to take it completely out the circuit if you wish), a 16 ohms, two 8 ohms and two 4 ohms speaker outputs and an external bias adjustment which makes changing the fixed bias dual 6L6s a breeze, so the Victory V40 Deluxe gorgeous good looks are backed up by a lot of features and a great sound.
