This Hosco Control Area Aluminium Shielding/Grounding Plate is the in vintage Fender Stratocaster style, rather than an adhesive sheet, a thicker aluminium plate was mounted between the controls and the underside of the scratchplate to ground the controls and help shield the electronics from noise. A slot for the lever switch, the switch screws and the pot holes are all pre cut in the sheet.
