This Hosco Shielded 2 Conductor Hookup Wire is for internal guitar circuits, the two separate wires are insulated and then surrounded by a wire shield that is soldered to ground to reduce hum and then everything is encased in an insulating outer. Sold in pre-cut 1 metre lengths.

One Length Faulty
2 x 2 metre lengths bought. The red sheathed wire in one of the lengths was faulty in that there was no continuity, whereas the white sheathed wire was fine. A bit of a pain in the neck as I had already wired the guitar and discovered this afterwards. I only needed a single core and braid earth, so I was able to use the white wire instead.
