The Hosco Kujiri Awl is useful as a bradawl for marking drill holes (tuner mounting screws, Tune-o-matic bridge posts etc.), the sharp stainless steel tip will create a starter hole in the wood and allow your drill bit to start accurately cutting in the correct location. It also functions as a scratch awl for marking out cut lines.
