The Wampler Plexi Drive Mini Overdrive Pedal is an improved version of their highly regarded Marshall voiced Plexi Drive pedal packed in to a pedalboard friendly mini enclosure.

The unique gain structure of the Plexi Drive Mini covers everything from vintage Marshall '68 style Plexi tones to the all out massive rock tones of a cranked JTM-45. In addition to the original Plexi Drive circuit Wampler have added a Mid Boost switch that creates a powerful throaty tube like boost by tweaking several gain stages of the circuit at once (similar to the popular combo of running the Wampler Tumnus in to the original Plexi Drive). The pedal also features a Bass Boost switch designed to emulate the tonal difference between a 4x12 and 2x12 speaker cab and also helps adjust your tone in the mix between a band setting and bedroom playing. The combination of these voicing switches along with the Tone and Gain controls offers impressive tonal flexibility from a mini pedal.
