The Seymour Duncan SMB-4A Music Man Stingray Bass Pickup features oversized alnico 5 rods and is voiced like the original '70s Stingrays for a more organic response and feel.

The unique coil winding to delivers an extended response at both the treble and bass ends of the frequency spectrum and compared with the ceramic version this pickup is both warmer on the bottom and more detailed on the top, this is the tone that changed funk, rock and slap forever. The pickup is a drop in replacement pickup for Music Man Stingray basses but are not for use with Music Man basses that have a 3 way lever switch. With Forbon flatwork, four conductor hookup wire and wax potted for squeal free operation.
