The Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 Vintage Single Coil P Bass Pickup is a vintage correct 1951 Precision (or 1968 Tele) Bass pickup made to look and sound like the early '50s original.

This P Bass pickup is still a favourite today because of its robust low end tone and subtle, articulate midrange punch, the output is a little lower than other pickups giving you lots of headroom yet maintaining a distinct, classic tone. Seymour Duncan has kept it as original as possible using authentic components down to the black yarn coil wrap, correct colour and thickness Forbon flatwork, period correct hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets and waxed and tinned cloth pushback hook up wires, they hand file the flatwork, assemble and lacquer the bobbin just as it was done during Fender's Golden Age. The pickup fits vintage style single coil P Bass routes (not split coil P Bass pickup routes).
