Description

Set of 6 Graph Tech String Saver Classic Saddles to fit guitars with a minimum 2 1/16" string spacing and centre intonation screw e.g. many Mexican and American Fender Stratocasters and Telecasters and a huge amount of other hardtail and tremolo bridges (also suitable for guitars with a slightly wider spacing like 2 2/16"/54 mm used on a lot of tremolos). The saddles are made from steel with a String Saver insert under the string, Graph Tech's String Saver material is impregnated with PTFE for permanent lubrication and so strings don't bind in their slots during bending or tremolo use, improving tuning stability and reducing string breakage. Their block design is comfortable on the hand while playing and they come with an extra set of longer intonation screws for use with modern style Telecaster style guitars.

Used these to upgrade a PRS silver sky SE. The guitar comes with vintage fender strat style saddles and the strings can move sideways on them which interferes with tuning stability and string spacing. Decided on the graph tech saddles as I have always found their nuts work really well. Turns out it was a good choice. The guitar tuning is now more stable and customer is pleased. One thing to watch out for with the Silver Sky bridge plate is they have placed grooves under the top and bottom E positions which are fractionally wider than the graph tech saddle screws, this causes a very slight splay of the outer saddles but does not affect the string positions.
Overall I think good value and good quality, and will get response from customer after he’s given it a good thrashing! 😊
