Description
The Graph Tech TUSQ XL Sleek String Trees maintain the break angle of the strings across the nut but eliminate the tuning problems often associated with the added friction from string trees. They are made from Graph Tech's TUSQ XL material which is impregnated with PTFE for permanent lubrication ensuring strings don't bind during tuning, bending or tremolo use, improving tuning stability and reducing string breakage. The height of the string tree can be easily reduced if required by sanding the base of the tree on flat, fine grit sandpaper and they are supplied with 2 long and 1 short mounting screws so the short screw can be used if the height has been reduced.

These really work for better tuning stability with a traditional trem
These string trees did exactly what I hoped. Friction instantly removed, tuning greatly improved with trem use, squeaks gone. Yes I know that you can lube the bottom of a traditional string tree, but who wants to keep doing that? Fix these and forget about tuning issues. I am impressed-will fit these to other guitars I have in future. Recommended.

Graph Tech TUSQ XL string trees 100% eliminate the dreaded "string tree ping" one often suffers from when using tremolo equipped guitars that are factory fitted with pressed steel string trees.
You know the story - dip the tremolo arm followed by a tinny pinging sound eminating from the head of the guitar and then having to endure the offending string coming back sharp upon release of the arm - suffer this no more - fit TUSQ XL string trees !
Say goodbye also to the weird phenomenon of turning a tuner button with no raise in pitch until an instantaneous jump of a semitone is accomapnied by a loud incriminating "ping" from the headstock.
Works wonders on Fender style flat head guitars whether hardtail or tremolo equipped.giving greatly improved tuning stability.

The packaging and delivery experience was amazing. Even though I have used a lot of tusq products. I would particularly say if you are buying this product, get some good quality screws as the ones that come with the string tree set are too weak and they can break like it happened with me while installing it and the screw was stuck in the headstock. So be careful with that. Love the glued to music services❤️
