These rubbers come in 4 different grits: 140, 180, 400, 1000, the fairly aggressive 140 grit is great for smoothing off the fret and fingerboard edges after the fret ends have been bevelled, then up to 180 and 400 for removing file marks from freshly levelled and crowned frets to the 1000 for adding the final polish.
