This Hipshot Bass 2 String Retainer / String Tree is machined from quality aircraft aluminum to ensure light weight and high strength.

The unique top load slot design allows for quick and easy stringing, you no longer have to feed your strings through the retainer and risk scratching your instrument's headstock or damaging your string windings. These retainers assure proper down pressure at the nut without weighing you down.
