The hum cancelling magnetic stack pickup captures the detail and dynamics of your personal playing style while the mic gathers up the natural acoustic resonance and air of your sound as it reverberates inside your guitar, together they provide crystal clear acoustic tone that sounds just like your guitar, whether you play fingerstyle with a pick or with percussive and tapping techniques, but at the volume you need. There are two easily accessed controls mounted on the side of the pickup, a master volume and a microphone blend control to bring in just the right amount of the mic's signal into the mix. Adjustable pole pieces allow you to use the Mag Mic with different playing styles, differing preferences in string output and different gauges of strings and to achieve optimum string balance, the pair of pole pieces for each guitar string allows it to work with a wide variety of string spacings and captures a broad range of acoustic, harmonic vibrations which translates to enhanced tone with smoother attack.

The Mag Mic can pop in and out of your guitar as required (with the endpin jack supported by a special built in strain relief loop) or can be permanently installed. Powered by a 9 V or 12 V battery (with clips included), connect the Mag Mic to your favourite amp, pedal, PA, direct box or console with a standard guitar cable. The pickup fits into guitars with sound holes from 3.75" to 4.2".
