These Gotoh round 'barrel' shaped string trees offer a smoother surface with less friction than the vintage bent sheet metal 'butterfly' trees for maintaining the string break angle across the nut on Stratocaster style guitars, meaning the strings return to pitch more accurately during bending and tremolo use. This pack of 2 contains 1 short and 1 tall string tree, each string tree holds 2 strings, the short tree would normally be used for the top e-B strings then the tall tree for the G-D strings.

The regular string trees on my Squire Vintage modified we catching on the strings leading to occasional tuning problems. These are a great solution look good too.
